For maybe the past 2/2.5 years I have been a volunteer with GOTR at their 5k and on their 5k Committee. I kept saying I want to do more but my current work schedule does not permit.

Chocolate Peanut Butter Protein Muffins

Just realizing it’s been quite a while since I last posted. Life has been busy so I promise it’s not you it’s me.

This past weekend I played around a bit in the kitchen and made what turned out to be some pretty good muffins. My only change would be to swirl the peanut butter into the whole muffin rather than just bake on top.

2018 was a pretty good year overall. It had its share of ups and downs. It had its share of relaxing days and many stressful days. Every day and every experience was a way to grow as a person.

Holiday Must Haves

I know I only have a few posts up here and they are mostly about buying things but its that time of year.  I wanted to bring you a list of some of my favorite things to help you with gift giving during the holidays.  Everything will be something I own, have owned, and maybe a couple items that are on my own wish list.

Black Friday Deals

I am not one to go out shopping and wait on line at store to get an “AMAZING DEAL” but I do enjoy scouring the internet for things that I may be interested in buying.  The last thing I want to do on Thanksgiving night when I can barely move after I ate my body weight in turkey, sweet potatoes, veggies, and stuffing is go out to the store and stand on a line outside and inside.  There is nothing that I am desperate need for to make it worth it.  This year I could barely stand up after dinner and dessert were finished.  The meal was so good and I do not regret one bite but I did not feel great and it took until this morning to go out for a run and get a little workout in to clear it up. I did spend a little time this morning going through my emails and my Instagram feed to see what amazing deals are out there for you.

It’s Me!

Thank you for visiting my new site!  I have been thinking of starting up a new blog for a few months now but didn’t know where to start.  I knew what I wanted to include but couldn’t think of a name.  Thanks to some of my closest friends who are always there with advise and assistance I was able to start this little thing on October 22, 2018.

I will have to make the time to get this done frequently.  I will hold myself accountable.  I may even reach out to some of these wonderful friends for a guest post here and there!  I know I can always count on them.

I will be sharing product/service reviews, recipes, adventures I may go on and anything else that comes along the way.  If there is something you want me to create, review, or do please send me a message and I will do my best to get it (done)!
